I’m enjoying RJ’S downloadable pages and coloring books. The digital quality is good, and I print them out on cardstock. I use crayons and colored pencils to color with, keeping it simple. I also use micron ink pens for line work to personalize the coloring pages when the muse hits. Which it does often, RJ’s work sparks creativity. I love the quirkiness of his character designs. There’s more than meets the eye with these characters, very funny. When coloring one of the free downloadable pages I received through the newsletter “Desert Rose,” I couldn’t help but quote Shakespeare’s Hamlet, “Alas, poor Yorick” as well as Romeo and Juliet’s “A rose by another name would smell as sweet.” I had fun with that one, I added a mirage to the image, Lol. The cool thing is I can print another copy and play off the Shakespeare vibes, I have a few ideas already! 😊 I started getting into RJ’s coloring books and pages lately because I just wanted to relax and color, not draw than color. That’s an extra step I don’t have the energy for at times. I would ask my daughter to draw something for me to color, now I just ask her to print out a page from RJ’s collection, Lol. I highly recommend his “Asleep” coloring pages, The artwork isn’t fussy. You get bigger images to play with, I love that! Thank you so much, it’s been nice coloring your whimsical creations without all the hang-ups. Laughter is very good medicine. 😊
